The Saviourgate Centre is an intellectual home for students in York. We’re a Christian ministry committed to the integration of faith and scholarship—as well as being a growing community of students and scholars working together to think through the deepest questions about life and faith.     Plenty of desks for quiet or silent study with comfortable seating, adjustable lighting, laptop power points and a stable internet connection (or you can just curl up on a sofa to get some reading done).

    A carefully curated reference library of useful academic and theological resources, covering everything from history to computer science, plus comfortable break-out spaces for cups of tea and conversation.

    Teaching and discussion

    A programme of lectures and seminars on interesting topics, plus the chance simply to chat through whatever’s on your mind with other students or study centre staff.
