The Saviourgate Tutorial Programme is the flagship tutorial programme of the Saviourgate Christian Study Centre. Delivered through a weekly small-group discussion, the programme aims to provide students with a thorough grounding in the practice of Christian scholarship.

“The Saviourgate Fellowship has been incredibly helpful in broadening my perspective on academia as a whole. It has highlighted how it is possible to be a Christian student and how those two identities compliment one another rather than conflict.”

— James, Saviourgate Fellow, 2023

Running parallel with the day-to-day life of the centre, the Saviourgate Fellowship Programme is an optional course of tutorial-style teaching based on a single key reading for each week. There won’t be any coursework or exams, and there’s no piece of paper awarded at the end of it; instead, we’re simply aiming to distil as much wisdom and insight as we can into an hour or so a week of discussion. The theme for this autumn will be ‘Christian Thinking in the Age of Algorithms’. We’ll be discussing everything from newspapers to Netflix, all with the intention of growing in wisdom as we seek to honour God with our minds.
